His events are shot-put and discus throwing, in which he is ranked sixth and eleventh in Northern California.

Foki moved to the mainland in July of last year and has been attending San Jose City College ever since.

He said enjoys history class because it is interesting and he likes that his teacher also talks about the government.

This two-sport athlete played football for SJCC last season as a defensive back and said he wants to play again this fall.

Foki said he is looking to continue his throwing excellence later this year in the upcoming State and NorCal Championships and he already qualifies.
