Among the attendees was former San Jose City College student, Angel Munoz, 33.

“I love art so I came to check out the pieces (up for sale) of my professors and just to see if I buy something,” Munoz said.

Munoz said he took the ceramics class six or seven times has moved on to teach ceramics at the Blind Center in San Jose.

“I learned a lot of different (ceramic) techniques here in San Jose City College and now I’m applying those techniques to teach blind people,” Munoz said. “I’m making some modifications because it’s not the same.”
