Recipe: Easy-to-make, fudgy brownies

If you are a fan of fudgy brownies with a rich chocolate flavor then this simple recipe is perfect for you.

Start to finish time: 45 minutes

Servings: 16 brownies

Ingredients:

½ cup white granulated sugar

2 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons water

1 ½ cups semisweet chocolate chips

2 eggs

½ teaspoon vanilla extract

⅔ cup all-purpose flour

¼ teaspoon baking soda

½ teaspoon salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  2.  In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, butter and water, and cook over medium heat until boiling.
  3. Remove saucepan from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted. Mix in the eggs and vanilla.
  4. Combine the flour, baking soda, salt and stir into chocolate mixture.
  5.  Pour mixture into a greased, 8×8 inch square pan and bake for 30 minutes or until the brownies are set.
  6.  Let brownies cool then cut and serve. Enjoy!
