Letter to the editor: VTA should improve schedule readability

I believe that the VTA should have a color code for the schedule of the bus lines. I know that this is a good idea and creative plan to improve the commute. First, better visibility. There will be less need to search on the bus for your schedule. Next, there is no language barrier with colors; little children will be able to determine the schedule they need. This will be a valuable learning tool for them. Also, colors could be provided by commuters free using cooperation. Furthermore, this would make filing the schedules easier and enhance the traveler’s experience.

Thank you for your letter. VTA has a committee dedicated to congestion management. The committee meets at the VTA Conference Room B-104, 3331 North First Street, San Jose on Thursday, Oct. 25 at 10 a.m. The Congestion Management Program and Planning Comittee agenda lists public comments as the first order of the day, which would be the best forum and time to address these issues.
