The new photography lab on the third floor of the Technology Center was completed in November. Replacing the old photography lab was six years in the making and faced stringent lab requirements to centralize digital and film arts. An estimated $60,000 budget produced the new photography lab that boasts side by side film loading rooms, dual complete dark rooms, wash bins that open on both sides for convenience and a larger studio space. Students taking photography courses at San Jose City College are able to transfer units to both the California State and University California systems.
