SJCC is one of 24 community colleges offering a new law program, 2+2+3=ACCESS, this fall.<\/p>\n
President Byron Breland said the program would require students to take courses in seven subject areas that are already offered on campus.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis program would not be possible without the support and collaboration between faculty and the administrative team to provide this wonderful opportunity for our students,\u201d Breland said.<\/p>\n
The program would require two years at a community college, two years at a participating four-year school and three years at a law school.<\/p>\n
The four-year and law schools participating are: University of Southern California, University of San Francisco, University of California Davis and Irvine, Santa Clara University and Loyola Law School.<\/p>\n
The program will not guarantee admission into the four-year and law schools, but special consideration will be given to students who participate in the program.<\/p>\n
