In the past San Jose City College had more qualified runners for the state championships. This year, with only two runners, the college was not qualified for team race.<\/p>\n
\u201cI\u2019m getting back to 10 miles a day before January, training for track,\u201d April said.<\/p>\n
He will represent SJCC in the\u00a0Track and Field Coast conference in May and hopefully get qualified for the Track and Filed state championship. He said he will race in the 1500 meters, the 3000 meters steeplechase and the 5000 meters.<\/p>\n
