Hernandez, Theresa Torres, and All-State captain and center fielder Elizabeth Foster, the team\u2019s leading scorer.<\/p>\n
Not always about athletics, the Lady Jaguars are also about academics, with nine players maintaining a 3.0 grade point average or better, according to San Jose City College\u2019s website.<\/p>\n
Jags were academically ranked No.1 in California with a team GPA of 3.02 in the 2010-2011 season. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe are all about competitiveness, discipline, and academics,\u201d said Head Coach Debbie Huntze-Rooney. <\/p>\n
