There are no signs of foul play.<\/p>\n<p>Friends, family and colleagues mourned Stamps, also known by his stage name \u201cBad Azz.\u201d \u00a0He was an American rapper and actor associated with Tha Dogg Pound, Snoop Dogg, 2Pac, LBC CREW, Nate Dogg and a host of entertainers, producers and actors in the industry.<\/p>\n<p>Body viewing of Stamps was on Nov. 26 in Los Angeles and the memorial service was on Nov. 27 also in Los Angeles.<\/p>\n<p>Many family, friends and colleagues showed up to Stamps&#8217; funeral services on his birthday chanting, \u201cWe love you, Jamarr.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>TMZ covered the funeral and posted a snippet of Frank Gibson and Big Boy\u2019s Neighborhood speaking their minds.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe difference is we really love Jamarr Stamps and all those that think like that will be here today (Nov. 26) at the body viewing or Wednesday (Nov. 27) at the funeral service,\u201d said Frank Gibson, Grittystyle activist.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAin&#8217;t no excuses. Pull up. Mandatory,\u201d Gibson said.<\/p>\n<p>Obituary pamphlets read: \u201cJamarr Antonio Stamps, Rest in peace. It\u2019s really not up to debate. Bad Azz wrote the whole song for those that didn\u2019t know. He wrote a few things for Snoop Dogg and Warren G that a lot of people probably don\u2019t know. Jamarr Stamps was the illest,\u201d Gibson said.<\/p>\n<p>Stamps is survived by his parents, Pamela Simmons and Chester Stamps; his children, Tievon, Ramaj, Daitaro, Nehemiah and Seanna Stamps. He is preceded by his sisters Kyla Brisco, Briana and Sarita Stamps. He also leaves behind a host of uncles, aunties and cousins of both the Simmons family and the Stamps family and close friends and colleagues.<\/p>\n<p>Shirts, jackets, candles and lighters were made in honor of Stamps. All his family, friends and colleagues said they would keep his legacy alive.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLove you, bro. You did your part while you were on earth. God needed you more where he is. I understood your mission,&#8221; Gibson said. &#8220;You were a visionary they just didn\u2019t understand. They were intimidated, bro. It took me a minute to accept it all. I forgive them. We have a bigger mission to focus on, 2020 Voltron forms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A song called \u201cBad Azz Tribute\u201d by Yung Gritty was created in loving memory of Stamps.<\/p>\n<p>Stamps last booked show was on Nov. 23, in Riverside Municipal Auditorium, Riverside, California, with DJ Quik, Kurupt, Scoe, Yung Gritty and more.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jamarr Antonio Stamps, died unexpectedly on Monday, Nov. 11, 2019, at the age of 43.
