\nour campus, of our neighborhoods and our world.
\nNov. 14 \u2013 20 Transgender Awareness Week
\nTransgender Awareness Week is held annually to raise
\nthe visibility of transgender and gender non-conforming
\npeople, and address the issues the community faces. To

\nAuthor Jennifer Finney Boylan and Orange is the New
\nBlack\u2019s Laverne Cox are both featured.
\nNov. 20 is Transgender Day of Remembrance
\nThis observance honors the memory of those whose lives
\nwere lost due to acts of anti-transgender violence.
\nOn Nov. 20, perhaps take a moment to reflect on the lives
\nlost to transgender violence.
