\nThere are few different places on campus to make life easier.<\/p>\n

Reading and Writing Center<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tutoring is available for students in any discipline of learning, focusing on reading and writing courses.<\/p>\n

There is plenty of hands-on help, books, handouts and computers.<\/p>\n

\u201cI just love it here, it makes my life so much easier,\u201d said Damian Salgado, a student in Reading and Writing Center.<\/p>\n

Located in the Library\/ Learning Resource Center, first floor, L103.<\/p>\n

Hours are Monday – Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.<\/p>\n

The Tutoring Center<\/strong><\/p>\n

This center focuses on tutoring for math, science and even foreign languages. Math seems to be the No. 1 subject in this center.<\/p>\n

Located right next door to the Reading and Writing Center in the back of the library, L105.<\/p>\n

Hours are Monday – Thursday 8:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Friday 8:30 a.m. – 2 p.m. Fridays, you do need to make an appointment. They have a 10 minute rule; which means no student should wait longer than 10 minutes for someone to help them.<\/p>\n

The Metas Center<\/strong><\/p>\n

Metas means goals in Spanish. This center is another place for tutoring, but of a different kind. If you are enrolled in biology, chemistry, science or Math 13 and Math 111, there are many different workshops offered with the PLTL, peer-led team learning, the student instructors who have taken these courses before.<\/p>\n

Located in the Multi-Disciplinary Building room,\u00a0M-104.<\/p>\n
