Marching to rebuild California’s higher education system

This March in March is the time students demonstrated from all over California, about the unfairness or injustice in their community colleges, the big budget cuts, the loss of the 90-unit cap, as well as cut classes that students needed to fulfill requirements for them to graduate. Students started to meet in the SJCC Student Center at 5:30 a.m. for breakfast.  They left the school by two buses around 7 a.m. and to go to Sacramento. The buses arrived in Sacramento at 9:30 a.m. at Raily Field. There were about 40 students from SJCC at the capital.
