Media Club brings the noise

Open mic brings talent and glimpse of campus life

Media Club with sponsorship from KJCC, San Jose City College’s student ran radio station, put on an open mic day outside the radio station and cafeteria on Wednesday May 6th.

[media-credit id=1 align=”alignright” width=”400″]KJCC Open mic[/media-credit]“I can’t believe I really got to just read my poem,” said Christian Rosado, 23. “I’ve been writing for awhile and just have never read them aloud till now.”

Open mic gave students a chance to read their poetry, getting to do improv comedy, perform choreography, karaoke or just mingle and enjoy the entertainment.

Open mic was a fun positive atmosphere; you could feel the energy of campus buzzing with excitement compared to other days.

Could this be the first of many events to come from KJCC helping give the campus a spirit? Only time will tell.
